About The Author

Dr. Amal Saxena (Ph.D. Agronomy) is Associate Professor, Agronomy at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences of Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He had also disseminated various improved agricultural technologies in the benefit of farming communities while working at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. He has guided more than a dozen post-graduate students and published 36 research papers, popular articles and extension bulletins in journals/magazines of national and international repute. Dr. Saxena had been awarded "Vishwavidyalaya Ratna" by Vice-Chancellor, C.S.A.U.A. & T., Kanpur and "Farrukhabad Bhushan" by Farrukhabad Mahotsav Sameti for his contribution in crop management in the district.
