About The Author

Dr. Indra Kumar Kushwaha working as Associate Director, Plant Protection in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Saharanpur-247001 (S.V.P. University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, U.P.). He is also presently engaged in mass production of Bio-control agents for distribution among the farmers to encourage the organic farming system in Saharanpur and adjoining areas. He is overall looking for farmers difficulties in their field crops orchard and guide them suitable management options against insect pests, diseases, nematodes, nutritional disorders and weeds and also promote the seed production and quality production of food grain and fruits. The university and district authorities appreciated him for the help to the farmers, In addition, he is also devoting time in mushroom cultivation. He is providing all technical support to the farmers and selling the mushroom & spawn to the farmers. The extension activities is very well taken by the farmers. Dr. Kushwaha has written four books, five chapters, 30 abstract and number of research papers/article in national/International Journals. He is awarded by different societies in the field of the best mushroom production and Plant insect pest & diseases management in the district. He was also awarded Scientist of the year and major R.S. yadav SRDA award.
