About The Author

Dr. Rohit Sharma presently working as Jr. Scientist (Agronomy) at Regional Agricultural Research Sub-Station, Bhaderwah, Doda, SKUAST-J, J.&K., India. He obtained his BSc in Agriculture from VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, MSc in Agronomy from Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University, Allahabad and Ph.D. in Agronomy from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, given more than nine years in Research and Extension. Published more than 10 research papers in National Journals of repute. Involved as a team member in the development and validation of On-Station Integrated Farming System Research model for small and marginal farmers towards livelihood security. As Junior Scientist, worked on Development of organic farming package for system based high values crops namely Rice (Pusa-1121)-Potato-Frenchbeans under sub-tropic conditions of Jammu region, and organic production technology of Bhadarwah Rajmash, also engaged in collection/evaluation and seed production aspect of famous Bhadarwahi Rajmash at Regional horticulture Research Sub-Station, SKUAST-Jammu, Bhadarwah, beside acted as resource person in various extension activities of KVK Doda. Dr. Vikas Sharma presently working as Jr. Scientist (Sr. Scale) (Agronomy) at Regional Agricultural Research Station, SKUAST-J, Rajouri (J & K), India. Dr. Sharma completed his B.Sc. and M. Sc. From CCSU, Meerut and completed his Ph. D. from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. He has a vast experience of more than 15 years in the field of Agronomy particularly in the field of nutrional management. He has handled two externally funded projects. Dr. Sharma has published more than 17 research articles in national and international journals. He has delivered many invited lectures on different scientific platforms. He is recipient of young scientist award for his remarkable work on natural resource management particular under hill conditions.
