University, Coimbatore. He has more than fifteen years of
teaching and twenty years of research experience and
awarded Doctor of Science. Published 15 books, 37 book
chapters and 126 research papers in the reputed National
and International journals in Bioinformatics. Three books
prescribed as reference books for Bioinformatics Course in
many universities and colleges throughout India. One book awarded as the
Best Book Award by the Govt. of Tamilnadu during 2001. Generated a
funding of Rs. 1.55 Crore from UGC, DBT, ICMR in India and ITTO, Japan.
