This book discussed about the design and development of web portal for the subject. About The Author
Dr. P. Ravichandran is presently working as Head, Library and
Information Science Wing, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai
University, Annamalainagar-60002. He has more than 25 years of
experience. He has published many research papers in various National
and International Journals and has delivered many guest lectures. He
is the Editor-in-Chief in the International Journal of Information Retrieval
and Management. Fifteen candidates were awarded Ph.D under his
guidance and has produced more than seventy fi ve M.Phil Degree for
various candidates in different universities in Tamil Nadu.
Dr. S. Dhanavandan, is working as Assistant Librarian at The Gandhigram
Rural Institute – Deemed University, Gandhigram – 624 302, Tamil Nadu.
He serves more than seventeen years in the LIS profession. He has
guided many Ph.D. scholars and Doctoral Committee member in various
universities in Tamil Nadu. He has published more than 90 articles in
National and International Journals and more than 100 papers presented
and published in National and International Conferences. Further he also
published more than 15 books in Library and Information Science and
20 papers published in chapters in edited books. He has attended more
than 50 Seminars/Workshops and training programmes. He served as
Chairperson and resource person in many workshop and conferences and also organized
fi ve workshops.
