About The Author
Dr. Ajay Kumar Upadhyay presently Professor, Department of Veterinary, Public Health and Epidemiology, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand did his pre-graduation from S.K. Inter College, Allahabad that has a very rich galaxy of alumni. He did his graduation in the year 1986 from College of Veterinary Sciences, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, post-graduation from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly and Ph.D. from the graduating institute. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience and successfully guided 16 Post-graduate and three Ph.D. students. He has handled more than 15 research projects. He is member of number of professional societies. He has published more than 100 research papers and 90 articles in national and international journals of repute. He has written nine books, five booklets, eight chapters, 40 leaflets and folders and seven laboratory manuals. He has earned more than 15 honours and awards related with professional work and fellow of Academy of Sciences for Animal Welfare.
