About The Author
Dr. Neeraj Kumar (b.1976-), presently working as Assistant Professor (Soil Science), Department of Agronomy, N.D. University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad224 229, (U.P.) He passed M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science in 1998 and Ph.D in 2003 from N.D. University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad (U.P.). He has a rich experience of 15 years in research and teaching. From August 2014 he has been discharging the additional duties as Secretary to ViceChancellor and acting as member in different committees on various important administrative issues of the University. As Major Advisor & Chairman he guided eight M.Sc. (Ag.) and four Ph.D. students of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, contributed as a Member in the Advisory Committee of about 60 students of different disciplines. Besides taught the courses to UG, PG and Ph.D. students in the departments of Soil Science and Agronomy. He has published 52 research papers, three book chapters (ICAR) and handled eight Ad hoc research project funded by ICAR, UPCAR, NHM etc. as P.I. and Co.P.I. He is recipient of 10 academic awards honours at national and international levels. His guided students got fellowship (Inspired, Maulana Azad, Rajiv Gandhi etc.) on national level, qualifying NET, ARS, appointed as Asstt. Professor and Technical Assistant in the department of Agriculture.
