This book is an attempt to compile different aspects of citrus pathology to provide an overall knowledge to those who are interested in it, so that they may identify the bottlenecks to improve it further. The book chapters give details about citrus diseases, metabolic changes in citrus plants against various stresses, quorum sensing and its role in symptom development, preharvest and postharvest disease management, and application of citrus and its compounds. The goal of this book is to provide the most up to date review on information available on pathological aspects of citrus. Therefore, this book will equip academia and industry people with adequate basic knowledge of citrus diseases and management options.

Dr. Mukesh Kumar Pandey presently working as Associate Prof./sr. Scientist (Plant Pathology) at SKUAST-Jammu since August 2005. He did B.Sc. (Ag.) in 1996, M.Sc. (PP) in 1999 and Ph.D. (Plant Pathology) in 2003 from NDUAT-Faizabad. He published so far 70 research papers, articles, book chapters pamphlets etc. He also handled many research projects. Currently, he is working as Jr. Wheat Pathologist in AICRP-Wheat & Barley in SKUAST-Jammu. Dr. Muneeshwar Sharma presently working as Scientist (Plant Pathology) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Poonch of SKUAST-Jammu since September 2007. He did graduating in Agriculture from M.D.S. University, Ajmer (Rajasthan), Master’s in Plant Pathology and Nematology from Allahabad Agriculture Institute (Deemed University) and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (J&K). He has published 18 research papers in reputed national and international journals. He  is also a recipient of "Young Scientist Associate Award". Dr. Mohd. Suhail presently working as Scientist (Horticulture) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lakhimpur - Kheri (U.P.) of C.S.A.U.A. & T., Kanpur since 2001. He did his B.Sc. (Ag. & A.H) and M.Sc in Horticulture from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (U.P.) and got merit scholarship. He did Ph.D. from Narendra Deo University of Agriculture and Technology, Faizabad (U.P.) and also received senior research fellowship from C.S.I.R., New Delhi and also qualified NET from ICAR. Thereafter, he joined as J.R.A. (Hort.) at Directorate of Horticulture, Lucknow (U.P.) during 1998-2001. He has more than 17 years experience to disseminate Scientific Technologies in the field of Horticulture and Agriculture. He published 20 research abstracts and 8 articles and 3 books namely Masala Faslo Ka Utpadan, Shak Bhaji Utpadan Tacneec and Jal Sanghran Kshetra Ke liye Tikao avam Unnat Krishi, 13 annual action plans and annual progress report of K.V.K. Besides he participated in various national and international seminars/symposia. He also organized awareness programme to enhance "Cultivation of litchi in trai region".
