This book is a survey of the whole field of subject from the standpoint of workers in veterinary field, hospitals, and veterinary college, Biochemistry, nutrition and home science at undergraduate level. As the tests described also used in many laboratories not directly concerned with diagnosis and treatment, so for as possible the needs of workers in the medical/veterinary research laboratories, students of veterinary, medicine, nutrition, home science and other related subjects have also been borne in mind.

Dr. Mohammed Afeef Quadri, Presently, holding the post of Professor & Head, Department of Physiology and Biochemistry, Apollo College of Veterinary Medicine, Jaipur, Rajasthan (first Private College in Asia). He has done M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) with 1st division in the year 1972 from the University of Jabalpur. He awarded Ph.D. (Animal Biochemistry), and received Honors in Ph.D. from J.N. Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur in 1990. He retired as Professor of Biochemistry in the year 2015. He served as teacher and research worker for more than 46 years (42 years in college of veterinary science & A.H., Jabalpur). He guided many students to fulfil the requirements for the degree of M.V.Sc & A.H. and Ph.D. Published research articles in National and International Journal of repute. He also acts as Associate editor for the “Journal Applied Biological Research”. Also act as referee for publication of research articles in many National research journals.
