Dr. Surya Narayan, is presently working as coordinator of UGC Add-on-Course “Food Technology and Nutrition”. He did His B.Sc. (Ag.) and M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture from N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya (U.P.). He started his career as Research Assistant in 1996 in World Bank Aided Govt. Project on “Guava Wilt Management Scheme”. Dr. Surya Narayan was selected as lecturer by UP Higher Education Service Commission in 2001 resultantly he is engaged in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students of department of horticulture in KAPG College, Allahabad. He has published more than 20 research papers of national repute and edited numbers of training manuals and assisted in editing of different magazines including “Yearly College Magazine 2007-08”. “Young Scientist Award 2009” is conferred to Dr. Narayan for his consistent effort in the field of Horticulture. Dr. Balaji Vikram, is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Post Harvest Technology, College of Horticulture, Banda University of Agriculture and Technology Banda -210001 (U.P.) India. He is serving in the teaching profession for more than 9 years. Besides contributing more than 150 publications, which include 50 research papers, 6 books and 8 book chapters, 100 extension articles, etc., Dr. Vikram served himself as an organizing Member and Technical Review Committee Member of National and International Conferences and received several awards; Young Scientist Award 2012 from Bioved Research Society, Allahabad. (U.P.), Distinguished Service Award 2016 from Society of Biological Sciences and Rural Development, Allahabad. (U.P.) India and also Scientist of the year Award 2020 from Ek Nayi Rah Foundation (ENRF), Etawah. (U.P.) India. Prof. (Dr.) P. L. Saroj, is presently working as Principal Scientist and Head Division of Crop Production at ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow (UP). He is ARS Scientist of 1991 batch, Prof. Saroj has versatile experiences while serving as Prof. and Head, Horticulture as well as Dean Student Welfare at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut (UP). He was Director for two consecutive terms at ICAR-Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur (Karnataka) and ICAR-Central Institute for Arid Horticulture, Bikaner (Rajasthan), respectively. He worked as Project Coordinator of AICRP on Cashew and AICRP on Arid Zone Fruits. He has also shouldered the responsibility of Assistant Director General (H-1) at ICAR HQ New Delhi, where he was involved in coordination and monitoring of horticulture research at National level including Foreign Funded Projects and National Technology Mission for Hill Region. Dr. Atul Anand Mishra is serving in the teaching profession for more than 12 years. He got his B.Tech in the year 2007, M.Tech in Food Technology with specialization in Food Process Engineering in 2009 from the prestigious Allahabad Agricultural Institute, Allahabad. He is also qualified ASRB (NET) in the field of Food Technology. Er. Mishra started his carrier as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Process Engineering, VIAET, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.) India. Er. Mishra's researches are focused on the Food Process Engineering, Waste Utilization and Food Biotechnology and published more than 70 publications, which include 50 research papers and 2 book chapters in reputed journals. He guided more than 50 M.Tech. Students and being a member of evaluation committee of more than 80 M.Tech Students. Dr. Priya Awasthi, is presently working as Professor & Head, Department of Post-Harvest Technology. She received her M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture in the year 2002 and Ph.D. in Fruit Science in the year 2006 with first class from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. She has qualified ICAR NET in the year 2004 and 2006. She has started her carrier in Jawaher Lal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur as Assistant Professor. After that she has joined as Associate Professor in the Deptt. of Post-Harvest Technology, College of Horticulture, BUAT, Banda. She has published 26 research papers, three books, 8 book chapters, practical manuals and more than 50 popular articles. She has participated and presented paper in many national and international seminar/conferences.
